As emerging technologies continue to redefine our understanding of ownership and space, one project that stands out is Bitmap. With the introduction of Phase 2, Bitmap has ushered in a plethora of innovative features that hold immense potential.
In this article, we will walk you through the core components and features of Bitmap’s Phase 2, helping you get a handle on this intriguing technology.
What’s New in Phase 2
The Phase 2 of Bitmap introduces Parcel Inscriptions, an exciting feature that allows users to assign, inscribe, and transfer ownership of parcels. Here’s what you need to know:
The Map View
The updated map view allows users to change the perspective from horizontal to vertical, aligning with the unofficial ordinals wallet view. A new search function also lets you easily locate your block and hot.

Block Interactions
Phase 2 provides the ability to interact with individual blocks on the map. You can now click on any block to view a sidebar with the parcels contained within the district.
Wallet Connectivity
There’s a new Connect button that allows you to link your Xverse or UniSat wallet, or manually enter an address to verify in Bitmap Land. If you are the owner of a particular block, this can open up new capabilities.
Inscribing Parcels
Parcel inscription is another key feature introduced in Phase 2. This gives you the ability to inscribe parcels and transfer parts of your district to other people. Inscription is a two-step process that involves selecting the parcels and then “tapping” the district to confirm your inscriptions.
